This is the last official post of Easter week and I thought why not end it on a good note and do some Easter Cocktails? or as I like to call them ‘CottonTails’! This post was meant to be up yesterday but life would have it that making 4 cocktails for yourself isn’t the best way to spend a Wednesday night, so I waited until I had friends over so I could use them as a test subject! So here we go!
First up – The Chocolate Bunny
Put a little hip in your hop with this choc/coffee dessert in a glass!
Even mix of Bailey’s Irish Cream liqueur – chocolate kind and milk or heavy cream. (amount will depend on the glass)
1 shot of Kahlúa Coffee Liqueur
Chocolate syrup/dessert topping
Flake Chocolate
Use chocolate syrup to rim the glass. If you’d like, you can drizzle some down the edges of the glass.
In separate cup, add Kahlúa and Bailey’s together stir, add in milk and stir until it is one liquid. Carefully pour liquid into glass rimmed with chocolate.
Break up flake chocolate bar and sprinkle on top.
There you have it, a decadent chocolate bunny drink with a hit of caffeine!
*pro tip: I’d really suggest mixing it with the milk/cream because if you don’t it can be quite hard to drink (personal experience). Whilst you have the cream out, whip a little of it up and place a dollop of it in the middle of the glass for a fluffy bunny tail!
Spring Chicken:
2 shots Malibu
2 shots Lemoncello
Pineapple Juice
Mixer: Sprite, Pineapple Lemonade
Pineapple chunks
Mash the pineapple up and put in the bottom of the cup.
Measure out the shots, (if you’re not using a mason jar, maybe half the recipe)
Top up with some pineapple juice and sprite (or pineapple lemonade)
DELICOUS!
Carrot Top
Sugar & Green food dye
1 shot Vodka
1 shot Tequila
1 shot Amaretto
Juice: Pineapple and Orange
Rim the glass with green sugar.
Measure out the shots into the glass
Top up with juice. (the easiest one of al)
Pink Drink:
1 shot Vodka
1 shot Fruit Tingle Liqueur
I cap full grenadine.
Pink Lemonade
Sugar & Pink food dye
Rim the glass with pink sugar.
Measure out the shots and top up with pink lemonade.
Add a cap full of grenadine and wait for it to sink to the bottom layers.
Drink Responsibly
*Sorry the photography wasn’t my best for these posts. Using iPhone and bad lighting does not a good photo make.
